Spring Clean Eating

Hi friends! I didn't plan to take last week off from here, so I apologize that I wasn't able to warn you. I spent the week focusing on spring cleaning in all senses of the term. A lot of organizing in the apartment, sorting out boring grown-up life things, and planning for the future. And - best of all - a complete return to yoga and clean eating (don't worry, I'm sure it's a phase and I'll be back to cake and champagne in no time). The silver lining of this endless winter (it's currently 46 degrees a full week into April) is that we've been given a few transition weeks to focus on these sorts of practical things prior to that truly most wonderful time of year in New York when restaurant tables line the sidewalks and all you want to do is drink wine outside with friends day and night. All that said, it just didn't feel genuine to share party prep, dessert recipes and cocktail ideas here while my kitchen is actually filled with vegetables, my mixer is sitting unused, and my wine glasses have only been filled with Perrier for a solid 2 weeks. I'm still in the first 6 months of this blog, and this is the sort of dilemma I didn't anticipate. Not to worry - I do have some fun things lined up for you going forward!

For today, I'll share a few resources I've been using recently:

Live The Process >> 5 Easy Tips for Clean Eating - I love this thoughtful, balanced approach.

Gwyneth's It's All Good cookbook. Say what you want about her, but her clean eating recipes are fantastic. This risotto (which I've made 4 times now) doesn't taste like the vegan, gluten free health food that it is. I promise.

    1. Haha! I love her. But she's definitely a divisive character.
